Let Your Love Flow

You assume I will always be here
No matter what you do
Thinking I will hang around
Because of my love for you

Never giving, only taking
Not even a share
A diet without food
I can not bear

You starve me everyday
Holding love inside
Just recycle mine
At least I could abide

But you are stubborn
killing me with your heart
Goodbye is on my lips
Soon I will depart.

“They who give have all things; they who withhold have nothing”
Hindu Proverb quotes

  1. Never giving, only taking
    Not even a share
    A diet without food
    I can not bear

the poem provokes so much thought, deep seeded emotions and a passionate write (~_~) hoping all is well with you and yours

    • I can always count on YOU to read my posts! 🙂

      • what gems of wisdom I might miss if I did not read your witty words and /or passionate writes(~_~) I am but a guppy in the stream of life, but I recall where the best morsels (food for thought ) are in blog/stream. Sometimes the current gets strong and pulls our emotions and we feel tossed about in the rapids of the river of life but as soon as I can I will come to nibble on your words (grin)just remember the Yin and the yang, we must have bad days or we would not appreciate the good ones.(!_!)

        Art~

  2. THIS SOUNDS SAD—-BUT A VERY DEEP POEM—-THANKS FOR SHARING—

  3. Upon a second reading of this post, (now accessible/re-posted!), I treasured the concluding quote: “They who give have all things; they who withhold have nothing”
    Hindu Proverb quotes
This restore my faith in you as one always able to “rise above and beyond”, utilizing the sadness and brokenness that WILL happen in life (if you are really LIVING!) to recharge your batteries. After all, it takes a negative post and a positive post to provide a charge, does it not?
